Diablo Fest NYC

Hiphop and Hardcore music unite together once again Saturday December 15th in New York City.  If you know the roots of Brick Diggler and TBC then you know the days of  his "Battered Citizens" fame, graffiti legacy and all around Dos Equis-esque interestingness.  As you can imagine this has led to Brick making a lot of connections; one of which being Danny Diablo aka Lord Ezec of Crown of Thornz and Skarhead.  Also performing with Crown of Thornz, among many other names, will be Pittsburgh native "Killer of Sheep" consisting of Oyo, Ollie, Greg Mairs and Keith Smallwood.  If you  can, make it out to Diablo Fest to support some great musical.  This is a great event to travel to NYC for the weekend.  It will sell out so get your tickets here while they last.

Joey Bada$$ X Mishka

Joey Bada$$ is a 17 year old rapper from Brooklyn, New York, USA and a member of The Progressive Era, a hip-hop collective that focuses on reviving the sounds and styles of “golden age” New York hip-hop.  It's only right that part of his wardrobe would come from Mishka.  Mishka, another product of Brooklyn, also gives a nostalgic feeling of better time with bright colors, wind breakers and underground punk and skate designs.  Considering we're the coolest store every we carry Mishka; we were the first to have it in Pittsburgh!  You can check some of what we have below and order HERE!

I present you with today the latest music video from The Camp.  "Before The Storm" was produced by Mysterious, who also shot the video, and is off the groups latest project "Training Camp" which is available here! The Camp, if you're unfamiliar, is a hiphop group based out of Pittsburgh consisting of Draztyk, Kid A, 41Duece, YM Da Kid, Jay Nizzy & Mysterious.  If I had to compare them to another group I wouldn't; 1. because I don't like to compare people and 2. because I saw them perform once with the WuLords so I know they're too gully for all that comparison shit.

American Horror Story's season 2 premier is on tonight at 9 PM.  To celebrate the premier of the show Crystal Seth and Devin Miles are dropping "American Horror Story" which may be on "XXIII", Seth's upcoming project.  The beat, produced by Miles, samples the intro theme music from the show so keep an ear out for that.

Sorry So Long Mixtape [Lay Lanskey]

Lay Lanskey is veteran of the Pittsburgh Hip-Hop scene. As a founding member of the local super group Tha Govament or G.O.V. the group saw some minor success. Lay started to take his music a little more serious but he always had one foot in the street and one foot in the music industry. After building a connection with G.O.V. member Boaz, Lay became more inspired as he saw Bo ascending to stardom. As Boaz's hype man Lay has rocked shows all over the country and in front of all types of crowds. All this experience culminates into one mixtape entitled Sorry So Long Mixed By DJ Shef. The project features appererances from Boaz, Young Roe, Phat Maxx plus more and production from ID Labs, Flawless Productions, Sayez, J-Pad Da Juggernaut.
