Grindtime now, one of the premiere battle circuits in the world, stopped through Pittsburgh yesterday for a 12 rapper battle with the winner advancing to Miami for a battle. The homie Real Deal was one of the host and a judge along with Animal and Dos Noun. Before we get into who the winner was lets talk more about the contestants. The battlers ranged from all ages, sizes and experience. From 18 year old kids doing their first battle like The 412 Kid to season vets like Boka to many in between. The battles were randomly selected with 2 30 second freestyle rounds. The first battle of the first round went to The 412 Kid over another first timer. It was a pretty good battle for two emcee's in their first battle. One of the closet battles of the night was between Monster and the dude Rob. It was a real toss up that went to Monster. The second round started with Boka taking out The 412 Kid in what wasn't such a close battle but big props for the kid for coming out. Things started to get pretty heated before the end of the night. The finals were 2 30 second rounds between 3 emcees. After those 2 rounds one finalist was voted out then the last two had another 2 30 second rounds. It was an extremely close battle but Boka came out champion in a 3-2 vote. Make sure you keep an eye out for Boka in Miami!

The newest brand to hit TIMEBOMBSHOP is local one called DAILY BREAD. Daily Bread Pa was originally the photo blog of Bill Niels. Bill is most known for being the photographer from Mac Millers famed K.I.D.S. mixtape cover and a local streetwear enthusiast. After seeing the success of his blog he decided the next step would be some gear. I mean why not? He then got together with his business savvy friend Alex Avakian and Daily Bread the clothing brand was born. FUN FACTS: Local screen printing shop Boot Prints did the printing for the Daily Bread X Most Dope tee and I actually designed the Daily Bread Circle logo for the brand. Check out the designs above available now at TIMEBOMBSHOP and make sure to support local brands!
