First off big thank you to everyone who came out Friday and to everyone involved to make this event a great success.  Also our deepest apologies for DJ Tony Touch not being able to make it out.  There was some troubles with Jet Blue and he was unable to attend but we will be rescheduling him sooner than you may think. Mac Millers K.I.D.S. Release Party!

What comes to mind when you think of Friday the 13th? Mass murderers and bad luck? Well that wasn't the case this past Friday August the 13th. It was a warm calm Friday afternoon on South Highland and then the clock struck 2pm.....

KABOOMMMMMMMMMMM talk about a rush! People came from near and far to cop Mac Millers new album "K.I.D.S." and to catch a glimpse of the kid himself. He hung out at the store and signed CD's and posters almost all day. The album has beats from Big Jerm, Sayez (Pittsburgh beat natives) and a feature with Chevy Woods (Kev Tha Hustler). We also wanna give a shout out to E Dan for his mix/mastering skills on the album. Pittsburgh's going hard so keep up or get left behind. It was a busy day for the store, Mac and the city... Mac had a busy week in New York this past week and went on Statik Selektah and Tony Touch's Shade 45 satellite radio shows in the same week. He killed the freestyles and had mad people call in and support him. He's on his way back to the Burgh now so there will be more coming in the future.

We just got back from New York from the Boaz show and he killed it! Mad dudes from Pittsburgh represented and showed the 212 that we where in the building. I didn't get photos of Boaz on stage because they played games with us at the door cause we were so deep! Either way his show was great and he even got to record with producer Statik Selecta! Keep an ear to streets the track will be out this summer. Our time in the city went so fast that we didn't get everything done BUT thats the best thing about NYC- it knows you will be back.
