Diamond D, one of the originators of the Bronx Based DITC Crew (Big L, Show & AG, Lord Finesse, O.C., Fat Joe, Buckwild), returns to our fair city after rocking a set of all funk 45's back at Classic Material in July. This time, Diamond will present his take on the "golden era" picks that helped shape hip-hop as we know it, present day.
Selecta (720 Music/Classic Material) will set off the evening with usual blend of classics ranging from Soul to House and everything in between.
This is a one-night only exclusive engagement with easily one of the Top 10 hip-hop producers of all time. In the same school as contemporaries like Pete Rock, Primo, Large Pro, etc... Diamond is also nice on the mic as well, as is evident on his two LP's... "Stunts, Blunts, & Hip-Hop" and "The Hiatus".
