Mac Miller's Guide to Pittsburgh!

Mac recently linked up with Complex mag to give his opinion on the top 10 spots to stop at when you're in the Burgh and Timebomb comes in at the #2 spot!

"The first time I went to Timebomb, I was 15 years old and I had a mixtape that I'd made myself. I was eating at Buffalo Blues and decided to stop in at Timebomb. I said to the owner, Brick, "Hey, man, I'm a rapper and I have a mixtape that I'm about to drop. Would you push it here?" He said of course. At that point, I'm sure he thought I was a little clown. But he ended up being a very vital person in my career in Pittsburgh. He's always repped me, always supported everything I did. Now that I have other artists that I'm working with, he's supporting them. Brick's put a lot of people onto a lot of hip-hop in Pittsburgh."

Brick Diggler / Timebomb in Complex Magazine!

If you're unfamiliar with Brian Brick aka Brick Diggler then you've been under a rock!! But seriously Brick is a man who can't be explained.  He is an infamous graffiti writer, a successful entrepreneur and a local legend among other things.  He has ran the underground hiphop mixtape and clothing scene since the 90's and with the spotlight finally shining down on the Burgh, Brick is finally getting some of the recognition he deserves.

The article below is an excerpt from the latest Complex magazine article on Wiz Khalifa.  Below the excerpt you can find one of Wiz's latest videos that has Timebomb, Brick and is son in the video.

..."Then there’s Brian Brick, owner of the clothing store Timebomb, a staple of Pittsburgh hip-hop and one of the first places to sell Rocawear, Phat Farm, and Ecko in the City of Steel. There’s a little bit of all of them in Wiz, who is, after all, a fully tatted stoner rapper entrepreneur whose come-up put Pittsburgh hip-hop on the map.
Brick and Wiz are discussing one of Wiz’s favorite groups, Three 6 Mafia. “There are kids these days who don’t even know Juicy J’s old shit,” says Wiz. “Before, Juicy was cadences, he’s more lyrical now.”... Read the rest of the article after the jump: more.

Oxyrotin Debuts at TIMEBOMBSHOP

A design collective born in and based out of Canada's blistery capital city, Oxyrotin is less a clothing company than an attitude. With designs as provocative as its name entails, the goal of the company is unapologetic artistic expression. The Oxyrotin mantra runs something along the lines of, "We aren't looking for approval from anyone and we don't give a fuck what's popular. Get on board or kick rocks!" #NoPumpfaking

Oxyrotin is making it's debut at TIMEBOMBSHOP today! It's been worn by Pittsburgh natives Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller and has even been mentioned in Complex magazine. Check out the videos below [look for Oxyrotin] and make sure to stop by TIMEBOMBSHOP to grab some Oxyrotin before it's all gone!
