Diablo Fest NYC

Hiphop and Hardcore music unite together once again Saturday December 15th in New York City.  If you know the roots of Brick Diggler and TBC then you know the days of  his "Battered Citizens" fame, graffiti legacy and all around Dos Equis-esque interestingness.  As you can imagine this has led to Brick making a lot of connections; one of which being Danny Diablo aka Lord Ezec of Crown of Thornz and Skarhead.  Also performing with Crown of Thornz, among many other names, will be Pittsburgh native "Killer of Sheep" consisting of Oyo, Ollie, Greg Mairs and Keith Smallwood.  If you  can, make it out to Diablo Fest to support some great musical.  This is a great event to travel to NYC for the weekend.  It will sell out so get your tickets here while they last.

Monster Album [Iron Solomon]

IRON SOLOMON'S DEBUT ALBUM 'MONSTER' OUT NOW!
With Appearances By Talib Kweli, Paul Wall, Jean Grae, Novel, DMC of Run DMC, Cassidy & More
Monster is produced entirely by Iron Solomon and his in-house team of producers and musicians. The album meshes trunk-rattling 808's with hard-hitting drums, soaring strings, lush synths and soulful horns, while remaining strongly rooted in the aggressive, witty lyricism Solomon is known for.

Watch the "Making of a Monster" Video below for a quick first hand look of how Iron Solomon crafted his debut album:

Monster [Iron Solomon]

Iron Solomon is a born and bred New York City rapper/producer who made his name in the battle circuits, stomping competition coast-to-coast and racking up millions of YouTube views along the way. Fresh off the heels of Redrum Radio, a Halloween inspired Mix CD released October 31st of last year, the MC is ready to release his debut album Monster on March 27th through Royal/3D. Set to appear on the record are established artists such as Talib Kweli, Jean Grae, Paul Wall, and Novel, as well as the legendary DMC of Run-DMC fame and more.

According to Solomon, the album will be a "personal offering that gives listeners a window into the life and mind of a kid growing up in New York City's schizophrenic landscape. Monster touches on everything from my personal come-up and the stress of pursuing one's dreams to the struggle of young relationships, family drama and youthful arrogance-plus a healthy dose of party and bullshit."
