Rockwilder Buckwild [In Store]

As many of you know Tuesday and Wednesday was the iStandard beat battle down at District 3.  The battles consisted of 24 producers, 12 each night, playing 5, 1 minute songs.  All 24 contestant got constructive criticism from 3 judges including legendary producers Rockwilder and Buckwild.  Each night also featured 4 performances from top Pittsburgh Hip-hop acts including Varsity Squad, Apex, Palermo Stone and JKJ including many more.  Yesterday Rockwilder and Buckwild came down to the store for a meet and greet.  It was a great time and a lot of people came out.  Rock and Buck actually both got on the wheels of steel along with Dj Hank D and Vex to put on a little DJ battle which made for a very enjoyable and cut up time.  Take a look from some of the pictures below!

iStandard Producers Showcase with Rockwilder and Buckwild

Attention up and coming producers!  24 of you will have the chance to showcase your skills August 2nd and 3rd at the iStandard Producers' Showcase.  Buckwild, yes thee BUCKWILD, and grammy winning producer Rockwilder will be there to provide criticism and advice to improve your craft. The event will be at District 3 and sponsored by Monster Energy, Ableton and IK Multimedia.  iStandard Producers' Showcase has been helping many producers get the opportunity to work with industry artist the likes of G-unit rappers like Lloyd Banks, 50 Cent, and others such as Rick Ross and many more.  This showcase has been in over 20 markets since 2005 so it has put it's time in.  This is a great chance to let your talent be heard so don't miss it!  Winners can win a prize package including an invite to NYC for the annual Beast of the Beats competition, and the chance to network with other artist!

You will also be able to meet the iStandard family and some of the judges at Timebomb on August 3rd from 5-7 PM.
