Bridge Opening Party This Saturday 11/9!

It was long awaited and the south highland ave bridge is finally completed!  It was a tough few months but TBC is back stronger than ever and this Saturday, November 9th, we are having a sale and party to celebrate.  All clothes will be 20% off and Sinners and Saints Tattoos will be running a 20% off tattoo sale that day as well.  Local artist will also be performing through out the night.  Starting at 5 PM, we will have some of the biggest up and coming Pittsburgh Hip-Hop artist performing in the store!  The Come Up, Beedie, Real Deal, B. White and more will be performing throughout  the night so this is definitely an event you do not want to miss!

Yury met Bill Paladino earlier this year through Bill's younger brother Frank.  By chance Bill happened to hear Yury's music while driving Frank's car; Frank had left a copy of Yury's "Still Life" in the car.  After hearing Yury's music Bill wanted to work with him.  Over the past months the two have formed a close relationship ranging from philosophic discussions to how hollow most of the entertainment industry is.  Also during the course of those months Bill had captured footage which he complied into the video you can watch above.  For more info on how this video came to be check HERE!

(Music Video) "Salto" [Yury]

Yury and Alex DiMarco team up once again to give us some really creative visuals.  The technique used in the video is called "stop-animation" and is a collection of photos put together.  Definitely one of the most creative videos I've seen so far in 2013.

(Mixtape) "Still Life" [Yury]

Yury's latest mixtape, "Still Life", has a lot of returning names on the production tip.  The Couch Potatoes (a production duo consisting of Jay Card and Will Brown), Black Diamond and Big Jerm all provided production along with Yury himself.  The Pittsburgh's emcee is a nice combo of crazy production, catchy hooks, clever bars and Niagra-esqe flows.  Follow Yury and check back soon for more music and visuals.

"Fiji Water X Lauryn Hill" is the latest video from Mars Jackson and Luke Shannon Films. Mars is definitely an artist to watch for.  With two projects already under his belt the Pittsburgh native is due to drop his third, "Loft Music", before the end of the year.  Join Mars, KH, NBA Alz and Yury tomorrow to support the mixtape release.  The event is free all night.  Doors open at 8 PM and the venue is 5015 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA.

"Loft Music" Release Party [Mars Jackson]

In preparation for his third mixtape release, Pittsburgh lyricist Mars Jackson hosts "The Loft Music Tape" Release Party. With the help of artists: NBA Alz, KH of Mo$crill and Yury this event will end the year on a triumphant note for the artist. The event will take place December 14th at the Fines Art Gallery, 5015 Penn Avenue Pittsburgh PA 15224. Doors will open promptly at 8:00pm with performances to follow.

So the only think Yury didn't do is shoot the video (directed, shot and edited by Tom Larkin).  It takes a lot of work to rap over a beat you produce.  You know the sound you want to hear over your beat but sometimes you can't produce said sound.  That's not the case with Yury.  He smashes this song out with a progressive building beat leading right into a catchy hook.  Check out the video and stay up to date with Yury.
